My name is Cara and I am a graduate student at the University of Iowa. I am currently seeking a nanny position for a loving family. I have worked with a variety of children in my past and would love to continue doing so. Last summer I cared for a family with four children (ages 4, 6, 8, and 10) and in the summer of 2014 and throughout my senior year at Marquette University, I cared for twins and a 6-year-old boy. I worked with this family from when the twins were 15 months to 2 years old. I also previously cared for children ranging from infancy to teens, through many different families, including my own younger siblings. I volunteered within two different programs involving children, one with grieving campers who have lost a loved one and another program that helps underprivileged middle school girls keep on track. I love outdoor activities such as going to a pool or playing in the backyard just as much as I love finding indoor crafts/activities things to do on a rainy day. I own a vehicle so I am able to provide various amounts of transportation. I also am more than willing to help with errands, laundry and meal preparations. Largely, I love working with kids, and I am pursing a career in counseling psychology to work with children and adolescents.
