I am applying for a nanny position because I recently retired from the teaching field. I am looking for an occupation where I can utilize my talents with children and families. I have been a 1st and 2nd grade teacher for 26 years and two grown children of my own. I have always been a hands on parent and teacher and have so much to offer. I enjoy outdoor and indoor activities, reading, arts and crafts, and just getting on the floor and playing. I have always been close with the families I have worked with and very dedicated in my career. Children have always been a part of my life and I want to continue my passion on a smaller scale than the classroom.
