I am a recent Marquette graduate who is now living and teaching high school in Milwaukee. Although I teach high schoolers most of the year, I have a plethora of experience working with children of all ages. For the past five summers, I have worked as a Day Camp Counselor in my hometown on the South Side of Chicago with children ages 6-11. Last summer, I was promoted to a Co-Director position which allowed me to plan and implement all of the activities for our 60+ campers. As you can imagine, this job required a lot of imagination and energy, and I loved every second of it! While at Marquette, I spent 3 of my 4 years working at the campus day care center in the infant and toddler rooms. I learned the ins and outs of infant care, and mastered caring for up to 3 infants at a time. Read more I have decided to spend this summer in Milwaukee and I hope to find a nannying or babysitting position for children of any age! I am looking for a position starting late June.
