Hi, My name is Ashley. My passion for working with children started when i was 12 years old. At that age i took my Babysitters course and started babysitting. At the age of 18 i started working in a daycare and worked there for year and half. I worked with ages from 6 weeks to 12 years old. Then became a Lead Teacher in the 1 year old room. After moving to Madison I worked as a nanny for a year and half. The first family I worked for I worked with after school for 2 boys and 1 boy being autistic. It was such a learning /rewarding experience. The second family I nannied for was 2 girls and 1 boy. I loved working as a nanny because you get to have more of 1 on 1 interaction and get to know each child on a deeper level. Currently, I Read more work at a day care for year and half with a Montessori philosophy and approach to teaching children. At my center I've have had a few different roles. My roles i've had are floater, Support Coordinator, and as of now Assistant Infant Teacher. I've grown a lot as a caregiver working here. Ive learn a new approach on how to interact, teach, bond/develop relationships, and projects to do with children. I look forward to meeting your family!
