I began babysitting in middle school but did more summer daytime babysitting and evening/weekend date-night sitting when I started high school. I love working with kids, and I used that passion to volunteer in a Haitian orphanage, as well as co-lead an after-school program for at-risk youth in a poverty-level community, which I still do while I am at college. I love babysitting because it gives me experience in the child care field and teaches life lessons that can only be learned through witnessing how different families do life, all of which I hope to utilize toward a future career in the orphan and/or foster care field(s).
