I, with the help of my husband have raised 4 grown children who now range in age from 23 to 31. I have been trying to find my second career for a few years now including graduating from UW Parkside with honors, working for the WI DNR, Lake County IL health department, and a wonderful small female owned housekeeping business. I've even been a professional gardener and substitute teacher. Along the way I've survived breast cancer and realized that life is too short to not do what you love. I loved being a mom and teaching children about nature and being a good citizen. I enjoyed teaching them responsibility, nutrition and how to love learning, and my kids will tell you I am really good at it. I have an encouraging spirit and unbridled optimism wrapped up in a music loving, pun making personality. I am responsible having my own Read more car and insurance (last ticket 17 years ago) and living in the same home we built for our family 25 years ago. I have never been arrested and do not smoke. I've passed every background check I have had while working for government. I am a fabulous cook and don't mind bragging. I do go on vacation a couple times a year and occasionally take a long weekend at our camper in Illinois. I have a detailed resume but not much of it pertains to this type of work. I am willing to share it with you as well as my college transcripts. My health is excellent despite my bout with cancer but I can't move furniture or paint ceilings very well. I can however do all physical activities related to caring for kids and running a household. I am not the least expensive nanny but I am sure I will be one of the best.
