Hi! I'm from a small-town in Wisconsin, but will be moving to the Twin Cities area for the summer and looking for a full time nanny position! I grew up in a family of teachers and have always loved working with children. This passion has continued as I am studying Elementary Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I will be starting student teaching in the fall before graduating in December of 2018. I have had three semesters of practicum experience (internship), around 12 hours per week, working with and teaching 1st grade, 4/5th grade, and 8th grade. I also have been an afterschool care teacher for 20 kids ages K-3, an after school nanny for a family with two children ages 6 and 8, as well as a camp counselor for 3 summers working with children grades 4K-3. During my time as a camp counselor, I was also a swim Read more teacher for kids ages 4-6. I love spending as much time as I can outdoors during the summer, especially to bike and swim! I also love coming up with fun crafts and activities for children to do! Some things I have done in the past is crayon art, make your own playdoh, make your own slime, erupting volcanos (outside of course!), and scavenger hunts. I also am first aid and CPR certified.
