My name is Donna and I'm 47 years-old. I'm a single mother of one son . I also raised 2-twin boys and one girl (my step-children). All three boys are the same age born in the same month with my step-daughter being four-years older then the boys. They are all now adults. I come from a family of 6 children, which resulted in 15 grandchildren. I took care off all my 15 nieces and nephews through their lives on and off as-needed. They are also now grown. I spent 28 years of my life and as office manager in the construction and HVAC industry. In 2011 my mother was diagnosed with dementia (on hospice at home). My father was diagnosed with cancer and had a degenerative eye disease. At that time, I decided to ended my career in management. I decided to take care and assist my parents daily in Read more their lives. I assisted them on a daily basis with; medication reminders, scheduling doctor appointments, transportation, self-care (Showers, dressing, toiletries), laundry, pay bills, healthcare paperwork, etc. My mother passed away in 2014 and my father passed this last October. The care for them was on-going for seven-years. I enjoyed the opportunity to take care of them. Instead of returning to a management now career, I decided to seek work as a care-giver for children, elderly or someone who is disabled and needs assistance. I enjoyed my career in office management however, I found care-giving more full-filling. I am looking for a part-time position approximately 15-20 hours per week, where I travel to your home. The salary I am looking for is $10 per hour. The salary would be the same regardless of the duties. I did list to add $1.00 per child however, this is not correct. Their is no additional charge. I had to fill in some type of amount to complete this description. I only work for one person at a time so that I will be available for any schedule changes, emergencies, etc. I am available 24-hours six days a week.
