My name is Sharayah Littlefield. I am 26 years old and have been happily married for almost three years. We do not yet have our own children but hope to start a family in a few years. I graduated from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois in December of 2010 with a BA in Christian Ministries. My special emphases and field work studies include extensive experience with youth and children. This has equipped me in the emotional and psychological experiences of children and youth, and has given me a deep understanding of how to interact with and take care of kids of various ages. In addition to multiple babysitting jobs from as early as age 11, my official experience and training for working with kids started at age 17 when I volunteered as a leader in a ministry to children from divorced homes. During my college years I worked at Read more activity camps for kids, leading groups of 5-18 year olds, as many as fifty at a time to as few as five. I also served as the Day Camp Director and Coordinator, during which time I wrote curriculum for 2-6 year olds, taught the curriculum, organized daily artistic, physical, and restful activities for the children such as art projects, nap times, snacks, games, and reading time. Currently I am a 50 hours per week nanny for a family who I have worked with for over two years. The children are aged 5, and almost 3 years old. However, I will be looking for a new position no later than September as my time with my current family is drawing to a close. I genuinely enjoy being a nanny and am a qualified childcare professional. I have loved working with children for as long as I can remember. My desire is to see children learn, grow, and have fun in a stable, encouraging environment. Working with children suits my gifts, degree, experiences, and heart, so that is what I hope to keep doing. I am looking forward to finding another family whose lives I can impact through taking diligent care of their children. Thank you so much for your time!
