I've been a babysitter since the age of 14. I started watching my parent's friends' kids during game nights and had my own list of clientele a year later. I've watched children as young as 3 weeks old, still practically a newborn, to kids/young adults at 18. I have always had a love for arts and crafts, this comes in handy when working with children. I've made homemade edible play-dough with several of my kids. While in college I became a member of the a program where you mentor kids who come from troubled homes. The child I mentored was 10 years old and I've watched her mature into a young adult at 15. I worked part time for five years at a craft store and have gathered a large supply of craft stuff! I also spent a brief time working with troubled teens in Falling Waters where I became Read more first aid certified and certified in CPR. I love animals just as much as kids and have a Standard Poodle and a small Yorkie mix named Dolly!
