I love teaching and caring for preschool aged children. I truly enjoy helping them learn and watching them try new things. I am active and engaging with children and incorporate learning into everyday play. I am caring, but firm, when it comes to established rules and manners. I also have experience with potty training and approach it with the same kindness and patience I exhibit in our other daily activities. I believe it is important to establish healthy eating habits at an early age and enjoy helping kids learn about nutrition and try new foods. For those picky eaters, I love the challenge of finding ways to mask fruits and veggies into foods they find more palatable. For the past year, I have been nanny to a lively 2.5-year-old boy and his 8-month-old sister. I have left that position due to a move from Nashville to Clarksburg. Prior to that, Read more I nannied for 2 other families with preschoolers. One position ended when the family I had been with for 1. 5 years moved to Denver. I spent a month with them in Denver helping hire a new nanny and transitioning their child. I was with the other family for a 9 month temporary position as they transitioned their child into a preschool.
