I love to teach and I love kids! My goal is create an environment for your child that is safe and nurturing as well as guiding your child or children to explore the world and enjoy life. I have over 10 years of professional experience as an early childhood teacher with a back ground in daycare, private nanny care, and also a Montessori Co-Op. Currently I am taking classes online to complete my degree in Early Childhood education. Also, I have completed my courses in Daycare Management with Ashworth University, and I am about to complete my CDA that will go toward my Associates Degree. I strongly believe in the Montessori methods of teaching and would like to pursue my certification in that area. I just recently relocated back to the Charlotte, NC area from San Diego California and looking for a part time position as I ease my way back into the workforce here. While in California, , I stayed busy as an on call nanny for families in the San Diego area working with the Munchkin MInders Agency both out of San Diego and Asheville. I have my own transportation and am certified in Child /Adult First Aid and CPR. Upon request, I can provide you with at least ten references most of them being profession in the childcare profession. On a personal note, I have 3 great kids that I am very proud of and they are living in the Charlotte/Matthews area. I have been a licensed Massage and bodywork therapist since 2016. I am also a certified Flower Essence Practitioner and Therapy Dance Instructor.
