I grew up with three younger sisters, two of which are twins. I grew up babysitting them after school and on the weekends while my parents worked. I have worked professionally for over two years at a daycare; mainly with children ranging from the ages of eight weeks to four years of age. Primary responsibilities included assisting the lead teacher with the children. This included diaper changes, meal prepping, daily activities, etc. Communicating with parents regarding their child’s day was a key element throughout the week. I worked with a wide variety of children during my time at Kidstown; including those with both physical disabilities and developmental delays.
