Meagan V.

After searching for a nanny for months for our newborn son, we were excited to interview Meagan. She made a wonderful first impression. We quickly checked references and made Meagan an offer. We made Meagan a very generous job offer because we felt she would be a great asset to our family. She told us she needed about a week to get back to us and we kindly agreed. A week later and she requested more time. Again, we told her we would wait. After more going back and forth, she finally accepted our offer (this is over 2 weeks after we made her an offer). We began discussing start dates and were very excited to have her begin with us in just one months time. Another 10 days goes by and she calls to let us know she can no longer accept the position. We were very frustrated by our overall interactions with Meagan, as we felt she strung us along and impeded our ability to secure a more reliable nanny and we are now scrambling to find someone with little time left before going back to work. I would not recommend Meagan. Although she makes a wonderful impression, we felt she wasted a lot of our time and was noncommittal and unreliable.
