Many animal lovers, truly do love animals, but that is all. I have lived my much of my life with animals as large as horses ( I live within walking distance of where the barns used to be in my childhood) , or Great Danes ( I love Bleu Merles.) Even small pets, cats, dogs, or ferrets, as long as they are friendly, some can develop a Napoleon complex. My room mate has a Sheltie, a very peaceful WoOoofy notion to him and we get along great every day. Even exotic pets are my friends, I've had 2 Iguanas previously, a chameleon, and many frogs as a child. My Grandfather is an architect, with his skills and my help, we transformed a double sized fully walled shower frame from Lowe's, with a drain ;) This is the best part. Then with a few wooden posts, some chicken wire, a staple gun, hinges, springs, rollers and tracks and few sturdy tree limbs from the back yard. Bam! A new home in an afternoon with a 3 foot wide door and fully washable walls. It was raised from the floor to allow a drain pan. My mother sewed up some canvas hammocks with suctions cups for beds.I have photographs somewhere buried in my computer if anyone would like to see. I currently own a Landscaping company , and love helping my customers learn how to manage their lawn's health as well as the gardening, I get to hike all day in the beautiful sun. With winter weather on the way, my business will have an expected decline. Leaving me with time to play with your pets! I currently sit for my Aunt, she has a full size Poodle. NON STOP PLAY TIME. It is 1 am and I am still playing fetch. Each weekend when I visit there is a newly destroyed toy, never the same one. My neighbor travels occasionally and I take care of her Husky/German Shepherd. Previously a year ago, in Tennesse, I would House sit for my Neighbor's German Shepherd a Bomb Sniffing dog. This dog was perfect, I think he was pet sitting me. Owning My own business gives me the advantage with a very flexible schedule, also I spend more time with my customer's pets than I do face time with the Human. I live a full life, I hike at Oak Mountain 4 to 5 days a week, have camped long term deep in the woods immersed in wildlife. I love being active and I will make sure your dog is happy playing or cat napping the afternoon away. Or more like a cat and hiding as I check the food bowl, water,and litter .Only meowing a thankfully as I leave the Cat's House. I love animals, but more than than I have lived with animals and understand them.
