My name is Elizabeth Walton and I am about to be a senior at Samford University. I am a food and nutrition major with a minor in communication studies. I am originally from Thailand and I moved to Alabama to attend university. I have grown up with dogs my whole life of all ages from a puppy to a dog in their old age of 17. I have also grown up around dogs of various sizes from a poodle-shitzu mix to a black labrador. I absolutely love animals especially dogs. I have also grown up with a couple of cats and a kitten so I have some experience with taking care of them. I am currently a dog walker for Wag! who are an independent contractor company that provides walking, sitting and boarding experience. I have been doing this job for about two months now and I have really enjoyed it. I have been walking dogs in different parts of Birmingham, Hoover, Alabaster, Pelham, and Bessemer and have dealt with dogs of various sizes and personalities. I have received a lot of good reviews from many of the owners of the dogs I have walked and have even walked the same dogs again because I did so well. I have very basic training in teaching dogs basic commands. I follow the instructions left by me by the owners when I am dealing with their beloved pets. When I am unsure about something, I know they are always a phone call or text away and I use that to my advantage to give them the best possible experience with Wag! especially when they are a first time customer. Also, I am always happy to learn and do better so I am not opposed to criticism or doing something a certain way for an owner. I treat their pets like they were my own and make sure they get their exercise in and get plenty of water and stay cool especially in this heat. I would be happy to take care of your beloved pets and give them the best treatment while you are away so that you can come back to happy faces and have a good experience.
