Animal care has always been a major part of my life, as I grew up on a small farm where the majority of my time was spent riding horses and playing with our dogs and cats.

I have always lived in a household with pets and rely on positive reinforcement in all aspects of interaction and training.

I have experience teaching horse care best practices while volunteering with 4-H clubs. I have ridden and trained horses for individual owners, as well as handled the feeding and grooming of them as needed. I also care for the house pets (dogs, cats, and small animals) of family members and friends when they are out of town.

I have experience caring for the following: dogs, cats, horses, rats, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, lizards, freshwater fish, rabbits, turtles, chickens, ducks, and sea monkeys :)

I currently have an Australian Cattle Dog, two Dumbo rats, an indoor cat, and a buckskin Paint horse and spend most of my free time with them!
