I have done a lot of pet sitting over the years for friends and family. I am truly a dog person, but I also have a cat. I have volunteered at the humane society in Homewood, AL and assisted with placement of animals after several natural disasters. I treat every dog as if they were my own. When permissible, I enjoy allowing them to sleep with me. My nickname was Ellie Mae growing up. While in California, I went up to a guard dog, not knowing that was what he was, I reached out to him, the owner had to get a new dog as he had never seen the dog so comfortable with someone. Pet owners are often surprised when their "shy" dog will come to me when they normally wont come to strangers. As a nurse, I worked with children and adults and was a part of animal therapy when I had the chance. I have a gentle and kind heart for all animals and the elderly.
I have references from various sources. I do hope that one day I will have a pet care service of my own.
I have a dear friend who is a veterinarian and I have fostered dogs. If you like to spoil your dogs I can do that also. I am healthy and outgoing and I enjoy walks.
I enjoy music, quiet time in the morning, and spending time with friends. I do not drink, do drugs or smoke. I enjoy a clean house and can do cleaning if necessary.
I was born in Tuscaloosa and lived here most of my life. I enjoy watching the games as well as other college sports.
