I was rescued by a dog over 20 years ago and am now the proud and loving parent of several dogs and cats. My experience includes working as a veterinary assistant with a shelter as well as with independent non profit rescue organizations. I have had many pets domestic as well as exotic. I am a lover of all creatures. I am a fan and former owner of all types of reptiles and have had to make the sacrifice of giving them up for my spouse!
