During my lifetime I have owned many pets. I recently had a 14 year old German Shepard/Chow mix dog pass away. It was like losing my best friend. Jasper and I loved to take rides and walks together until he was no longer able to do so. Before I retired, I would have to put him in a kennel when it was required that I travel. He hated being away from home. I wish I had known of pet sitting services then so he could have stayed at home around all his familiar surroundings. He had a vet who took loving care of him and his hair was groomed for the summer heat. I also love cats and currently own one. I am a responsible person who you can trust to take loving care of your precious child/pet. Trustworthiness is honesty is my policy. Taking care of your home and pets while you are away would be a great joy for me and I would treat your home well. I worked 30 years as a Counselor which required me to communicate well with people of varying backgrounds. I am now investigating certification requirements for pet sitting services. My volunteer work has included taking a pet to the nursing home to brighten up a patient's day and to allow the patient to have the skin contact with a loving animal. I am currently a volunteer tutor for the Literacy Council and am looking to expand my horizons.
