PETS! PETS! PETS! Growing up, we had all kinds of animals in the house: iguanas, snakes, cats, dogs, birds; you name it, and we probably had it at some point. I have watched over the dogs of several neighbors, even one that was half wolf! I absolutely adore animals and love to play with and care for them. It brings me so much joy to foster relationships over time with even the least social of pets. I can provide the references of several neighbors whose pets I have watched and cared for while they were away. We currently have two dogs, a beautiful Border Collie/ Australian Shepherd mix named Sissy, and our spunky Catahoula, Jazz, just joined our family this year. I am willing to learn a thorough and comprehensive understanding of how to care for your pet, however detailed and particular their needs may be. My goal is to care for your pet(s) as well as you would if you could be there.
For now, I have listed my mother, who knows me best and who I have worked for the most and the longest, as my primary reference. Other references - parents of children I've tutored, owners of pets I've watched for, leaders whose camps I've volunteered for, etc - will be available upon request, so as to respect their privacy and their time, to give them notice when someone will be contacting them.
