I have been a Mom for 22 years and counting. I have read countless books, gone to seminars, and received training on multiple parenting and educational philosophies including Love and Logic, Waldorf, Montessori, Attachment Parenting, etc. I have hired my own nannies, babysitters, and home/pet carers and understand the needs and concerns on both sides. I have raised three boys and a girl and am now going back to school with my husband to become medical doctors so am looking to supplement our income and use my knowledge and experience to help other families.

I have over 20 years experience with CPR and First Aid as a First Responder and have been trained twice as a basic EMT, the last time being in 2014.

I homeschooled our kids for several years combining modalities to fit our beliefs and lifestyle and am willing to do the same for your family in order to help you discover what works for you. I also supported my kids in public school for the last two years and have successfully transitioned my two oldest children into college by age 16 and am working on transitioning the younger two by the age of 14.

I am conversationally fluent in Spanish although I am as caucasian as they come, born and raised in Kansas. I love pets and know how important they are to a family unit. I can do light housekeeping as well as cooking. I have traveled all over the world and know and prepare many ethnic dishes. I prefer organic, gluten free, vegetarian diets due to personal experience in beating ADD and Cancer through diet, however, I realize there are many stages of belief, experience, and philosophies on eating and am extremely adaptable. I can also offer budgeting, meal planning, home decor, household purchase, and home maintenance/repair advice and counsel.

I am very flexible and open minded to personal lifestyle and family dynamics, however, I do not tolerate abuse or neglect of children and pets in any way or for any reason. I am firm, consistent, loving, playful, creative, and fun. I expect parents to communicate clearly their goals, desires, expectations, and concerns and require equal respect for open, honest, and fair communication between us.
