Since i was a little girl i knew i loved animals and as i grew older it became a passion of mine. Throughout my whole life i have always owned different types of pets, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamster, and many more, so you can say i have had plenty of experience with animals since i grew up taking care and nurturing them. I am trustworthy, loyal, reliable, a very nice caring person with a big heart and of course a big animal lover. I attended a two year program full time for Veterinary Technology at Anthem college and graduated on June of 2014, which ive earned my Associates degree in Science. While in college I volunteered at a cat shelter called 4 paws rescue inc. in Peoria for 5 months during my free time. After volunteering at the cat shelter i thought it would be a great idea to work at the humane society animal shelter to help the dogs and cats in need of a home and to increase my experience with animals, but i had to cut it short and volunteered for 2 months because it was time to do my internship and my schedule was about to get busier than ever. I completed my internship at VCA El Mirage Animal Hospital where i use to volunteer when i started the vet tech program for a few months. I ended up getting hired as a kennel tech/ veterinary assistant while a vet tech position was available for me to fill in, i worked there for about a year and 3 months. I have been currently unemployed for a few weeks due to personal issues but i am ready to get back on my feet and get to work more than ever. At the moment i am taking small jobs at my moms work for the residents for temporary income. My mother works at a retirement home and majority of the residents have pets and most of the elderly are not able to bathe their pets, trim their nails, or walk them at times so i help with those favors whenever the residents pets are in need while i am able to find a job that is more permanent. But even when i do find a settled job i am sure ill still be able to help the residents with their pets whenever they need me during my free time. I love taking care of animals and being there for them when they need me. My goal is to make them feel safe and comfortable around me and earn their trust and give them the love and affection that they need. Because earning an animals trust its really important to me, its a great feeling knowing an animal can trust me and that they know that i am there to take care of them and that i am a good person. They bring happiness and joy to my life.
