I have loved animals since I was little. I believe I got that from my parents because I grew up around so many different critters in the house. We had dogs, a big cat, iguanas, snakes, bunnies, so many fish and my chunky guinea pig. My mom's sister even had a big horse farm. I grew up in the country back home in North Carolina, so having animals was just part of who you are. Now I'm moved out and all the way out here in Arizona, I couldn't have made it without my co-pilot Jasper, a big goofy hound dog mix AKA mama's little boy. I'm currently a Groomer/Pet Stylist in a salon so I get to work with fur babies all day long. I've been doing this for about two years and I can honestly tell you I love my job. It's extremely rewarding to watch those tails wag and wiggle everyday, especially when you get to send them home looking and feeling their best. That being said I know how to handle a lot of dogs at once. I work with puppies, senior dogs and all breed types. No discrimination here, I love all babies! I have also been trained to do CPR, I've taken dog and cat nutrition courses through the program I entered to become a Groomer and I know how to care for some of the more "exotic" animals such as ferrets, hamsters, water dragons, iguanas, and tree frogs.
