Jennifer’s Bio
I am currently a student at College of Alameda. In my senior year of high school, I volunteered at the Alameda Animal Shelter (FAAS) because I originally wanted to get experience before pursuing the dream job of becoming a vet. However, I am no longer pursuing that career path, but would love to interact with animals. While I volunteered there I went through feline training and rabbit training, but before that I helped clean kennels and feed the dogs and cats. During my summer break after my third semester in college, I was a pet sitter for two of my friends. One of friends had to move down to UCLA, so she asked if I could be a pet sitter for her three dogs; Nina, MeiMei, and LeiLei (two mix maltese and a mix poodle). The other friend was going on vacation and asked if I could also be a pet sitter for her cat, Byron.
