For pet-sitting...
...I love animals. Period. I grew up in a house with 6 cats, a dog, 2 iguanas, 2 ferrets, a rabbit, and multiple other rodents (pet ones, of course). I'm comfortable with unique pets, insects, rodents, reptiles. For larger pets, like horses and the such, if I'm given instructions, I will follow them exactly. Dog walking is extra but can include anything from a run to a long hike to visiting the dog park-- tailored to your pet.

For baby/kid-sitting...
...In addition to spending lots of time with my nephews and friends' kids, I am a CA and OR certified high school Japanese teacher, and I have a lot of experience teaching and subbing in elementary schools. I love crafts and tend to come up with projects to do suitable for the age I'm working with. I enjoy languages, so I am comfortable speaking in Spanish and Japanese (as well as English).
