My name is Jennifer Cano and a couple of weeks ago I graduated from Bright Star secondary charter Academy with honors and being the top 10% of my class. I always challenged myself to take AP and honors courses, including chemistry, biology, psychology, spanish, government, and english. Part of my highschool journey consisted of running 3 marathons, being vice president of the Senior Club, and founding my own bible club. If you were to ask anyone to describe me I think they'd say I'm very resourceful, outgoing, and open minded. In the fall of 2016 I will be attending UCSD and studying environmental enginnering.

A year ago my family consisted of my parents, 8 and 10 year old sister, and myself. Since then we have added a new member to the family- Ranger ( a blue-pit). That might sound intimidating, but he is the sweetest dog ever who plays will all sorts of dogs, including small dogs. I truly believe that how one treats a dog is reflective of how a dog will behave. Since the age of 3 months, I have taken my dog every Saturday to Petroleum training classes where he has learned several tricks. Ranger is a rescue dog and he has taught me of how much love and passion I have for dogs. Everyday I spend much time on him that includes making him home made foods due to allergies, taking him to dog parks everyday, walks/hikes, doctor appointments, and simply some belly and butt rubs. I am so glad we got to adopt a Pitbull because often times people are impressed and shocked that a Pitbull can be as sweet and trained as any dog. I love meeting new dogs and know the importance of making sure ones dogs are safe and in good hands. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. I hope I get to meet your furry friend.
