I have loved animals all my life. I have worked in an Animal Kennel for about 2 years when I lived in PA. I moved to California about 6 months ago and trying to get a job in the animal science field. Right now I'm in the process of getting my RVT degree at Mt. SAC.

The kennel that i used to work at was called Main Line Animal Rescue in Pheonixville PA. I had a lot of experience with all different kinds of dogs, small, medium and large. My work place was a team base environment which we all had to work together to take care, feed, and sometimes walk all these dogs, about 200 plus in the Kennel at all times. I found this job very rewarding and sometimes sad. I picked this rescue because it was a NO Kill rescue and had a lot of dogs coming in but a lot going out to be adopted. We have a lot of great volunteers there everyday taking out dogs and helping the staff members also. In Addition, Main Line Animal Rescue gave all the staff member training and informational showings for how we can help these dogs now and into the future. We got training for animal CPR, animal behavior , feeding and dieting nutrition facts, and information about puppy mills.

My time at this rescue showed me a lot of joy and experience which lead me to further my education about animal care/science and also want everyone to know that I care for all animals because animals are our best friends and we shall always love them and respect them.
