Hi my name is Kate and I’ve had love for animals since I could remember. I've had dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits and lizards. I would come up with the best stories to convince my parents that I needed to rescue the animal of the week.
My compassion for living things led me to a career as a medical technologist specializing in cancer research. I've been in that field for a number of years and was gratified by what I did. Having worked in the corporate world for a while I noticed one common stress reliever that people had and love to talk about, their pets.
Caring for animals is a passion and I've been told I have a natural way with them. While in Alaska, summer jobs included caring for dog teams of mushers that needed a break. Being confident and consistent was really needed here. Over the years many of my animals have needed medication so this would not intimidate me. Currently, I have a fifeteen year old cat and we room with a sweet Yorkie . I assist in her care with walks and medication if needed. I look forward to meeting new clients and helping you care for your pets.
