Linda’s Bio
Our home and our grandparents home always had a dog while I was growing up. He went hunting with my Dad and brothers. I just played with them. My youngest sister had rabbits, cats and other pets. Now she owns a ranch and has added horses, cattle, goats and chickens. I have other friends that own ranches and have all types of animals. I am comfortable around, most, domestic creatures and enjoy wild ones, as well.
I believe pets are an important part of a childs life. When our children seemed ready to properly care for a pet, we adopted guinea pigs, and then rats. We have had, two, indoor cats. Meisha was our female chocalate point, siamese, black cat mix. Although, she was my daughters choice for a family pet, she became my lap cat. Mitsy, a tabby mix, was my son's choice, brought home on Mother's Day, how could I refuse this adorable kitten. My son and I read up on how to introduce the two cats to one another . It took some extra time and stradegy, but was very successful. The Siamese took the tabby under her wing, as if she were her own kitten. They complimented each other, well, in our home, and were both a joy to have around. They were meant to be pets for my children, however, somehow mothers, often seem to become the main pet care-giver for the family. I have appreciated having them.
I've been around a variety of pets all my life. I enjoy them, but have a definite respect for the different temperments. I don't consider myself an expert. I would not be comfortable taking care of tempermental animals. I'm all for caring for the average, loveable, family pets, or individual pets.
Thank you,
Linda Schmidt

Linda is a very reliable, trustworthy, and nurturing caregiver. It was very comforting to be at work and know that my two boys were being well taken care of. She always came with a bag full of toys, cds, and books. She believes in keeping them engaged and wasn't timid about being active with them. The tv was never used to keep them occuppied! Linda sang, read and continually had conversations with the boys. I highly recommend her. She'll exceed your family's expectations.
Linda has been absolutely wonderful taking care of our baby girl. I went back to work early and Linda has been there for me. She is very flexible with our schedule and able to babysit on occasion. I would recommend her to anybody.
Linda has been my nanny for a little while now and I have to say she is the best! She is the most attentive person I've met in a long time. The idea of leaving my baby and going back to work was very hard for me. But Linda made the transition easy for all of us. She is genuinley a good person, and I trust her 100%! It's like having a "back-up" mom.
