I've been a caregiver almost all of my life! That was my role in our family and when I turned 16 years old I got my first senior caregiver job through my grandmother who was also a caregiver. I babysat after school and in the evenings.

I studied nutrition and dietetics and agriculture in college. After about five years of working for hospice, I decided that I wanted to provide a stepping stone for seniors so they wouldn't have to go into a nursing home. I bought a residential care home for elderly business which I owned and operated for 5 years.

All of my life I always loved dogs, cats, chickens and cows. We lived in the city so livestock was out of the question. We always had dogs and cats at our house, though. My spirit was always in the country so when I had an opportunity I bought a small starter goat herd and raised superior meat goats which I sold at - farm - gate as well as using the herd for land clearing.

I bred and trained German Shepherd Dogs for a decade and with that came a lot of experience caring for puppies, sick animals, some with chronic illnesses and also a disease called Exdocrine Panreatic Insufficiency (EPI).

Nutrition and Dietetics has been a very important part of caring for seniors children and pets. I am very thankful that I have that knowledge to use every day of my life.

I am capable of following directions and I am very responsible, reliable, and punctual. I will follow your written instructions so that you and your loved ones - - two legged or four - - will be happy. I have proven that I am capable of learning new skills and new ways to do things and can refresh or review skills.
