My name is Kristi. I have been a animal lover, healer, trainer, groomer, rehabilitation and REIKEI massage, sitter, walker, helped with births, bottle fed when rejected by birth mom, first-aid, fostered, fed, pooper scooper, and overall a trusted friend to the animals I ever been in contact with.
I've listed these skills in the industry of animal care. I have done most of my life. I am 56 yrs old. My very first job at 7 yrs old was walking 2 German Shepard guard dogs at a Repossesion Car Lot.
They were vicious dogs because they were trained to be that way. Every day I would bring a hot dog or some treat to them and sit and talk to them. One day I asked the owners to allow me in the guarded lot. The owners couldn't believe what happened. They jumped up on me licking my face as I tumbled to the ground playing with my friends. They asked if I would walk the pair each day for additional Excercise. I thought...you mean I get paid to be with Frans and Hilde. So the story began to escalate...I brought home every stray animal within a 5 mile radius. Fed watered bathed and searched diligently for the worried owners and of course the confused animal. I found new born kittens no more than a hour old. Raised them from bottle and found the 3 excellent homes for adoption. I was 10 or 11. I took horseback riding lesson at the age of 8 until I was 13 yrs old. It was one of the saddest days of my life seeing my instructor move on with her adult life. She got married. Lol.
I have bottle fed bum lambs, trained horses, dogs, birds, chipmunk, rabbits, ducks...yes ducks and chickens. My history is extensive. I don't call it work because there is no way work can be enjoyed and fulfilling as working with animals. It is my lobster. Oh yeah I worked at a Marine institute in 1990-92. I can't imagine my life without some form of animal life in mine. I hope I'm the person your looking for. I have never had a animal not trust and respect me. I believe they know a kindred spirit when they meet one.
