I have more than 50 years experience with horses and dogs, countless years around all other pet and farm animals. I have been a house sitter for more than 20 years and do short term and long term house or ranch sitting. I currently breed, raise, train and show Weimaraners. I also do performance events and competition hunts with my dogs. I have 6 horses , 4 cats and 6 dogs. While I am away house sitting or doing pet care my husband cares for my pets and my neighbor feeds and cares for my horses. I have trained dogs for others at both basic and intermediate obedience, agility and rally. Although I do not do day care or boarding I can transport animals to Vet appointments with plenty of advance notice. For house sitting jobs, I request meeting with clients within 2 weeks prior to travel in order to meet pets and document schedules for feeding, exercise and bed times. Whenever possible I like to walk through feeding with a family member and learn the pets or livestock’s routines in advance. I have many references from clients, friends, family Vet (if requested).
