A Baltimore, Maryland transplant, looking for a little extra work while completing a year of service with AmeriCorps C.B.P.Y.T.

I grew up with an array of animals in my life; dogs, cats, lizards, fish, caterpillars, birds, and the occasional squirrel. Throughout High School and into college, I would pet sit regularly on the side. After college, I went off to New Zealand to WWOOF (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) for a few months. During this time I cared for herds of Red Deer, helped raise English Blue Cats, Curly Coated Retrievers, and cared for chickens, pigs, goats, and one blind lab I think about to this day.

Currently, I own an 11 year old long-hair calico named Mrs. Charlie Parker who I adopted after seeing her thrown from the back of a moving truck 5 years ago.
