Hi I am a senior at Colorado State University studying zoology and I plan to be a vet. I grew up on a Breeding Farm for horses. We had atleast 20 horses at a time and also had chickens, goats, sheep, fish, dogs and cats. We also bred Scottish Deerhounds. I have experience giving shots, medications, being a midwife for horses, dogs, and cats, feeding, and general care. I am pet CPR certified and have worked as a vet assistant since I was 12 years old. I trained my own dog as both a service and therapy dog she is registered and certified by the AKC in both fields. I have also trained dogs for showing. I volunteered with the Rocky Mountain raptor program for a few years and understand how to handle and care for birds. I also have experience working with large and small exotic cats and bears when I did an internship at the International Exotic Animal Sanctuary.
