I am a certified dog trainer and a Karen Pryor certified training partner and have been a professional positive reinforcement trainer for 6 years. I was the lead dog trainer for Petco in Longmont for over 2 years and cared for many types of animals there. I have also worked for years at vet hospitals and boarding kennels starting back in 1990. I have done pet siting and medical visits and care for the past 25 years including giving medications, intravenous fluids, and insulin shots and find it very enjoyable and rewarding. I have taken care of and have owned myself all kinds of animals from house pets such as dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, rodents, birds, and rabbits. I started out watching and feeding livestock for people who left town such as horses, cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, and goats. I have also milked and helped with birthing when the owners were not home. I raised and showed rabbits for over 25 years and I have owned and shown horses and dogs for several years as well. I currently own 1 horse, 5 dogs, 2 cats, 1 red iguana, and 1 rabbit. I do carry insurance and have recommendations as well.
