We started out strong and she was responsive, kind and reliable. She had to cancel once, due to a family emergency, and did so appropriately. My kids were comfortable with her. She agreed to do some pick ups for us, showed up to the first one and then disappeared. We had a couple of other dates she had committed to, but she never responded to our outreach so we had to make other plans. There was no issue that we were aware of by her or our son (who she was picking up) and no communication from her- at all. She never let us know that she no loner wished to work with our family, nor did she respond to our outreach. I was worried that something may have happened to her, as not getting any responses was not what I had come to expect.

Left us stranded, quitting by text on late night Sunday at 00:30 am Monday early morning, Just few days after she asked her sister to cover for her and her sister did not pick up my son on Thursday but Miriam managed to show up for her paycheck late afternoon Friday, apologizing for her sister.
The Job description stipulated no Summer students and 2 weeks notice before quitting, she assured us to get the job but still that left a week before labor-day and not even few hours notice.
