I’m the kind of person who sees my pets as part of my family. My decisions in life, great or small, have always included my furry “kids.” Some people don’t understand my intense connection to the cats and dogs I’ve owned as an adult or grown up with as a kid, and I often leave those conversations with a more profound respect for why I do and for who I am.

I grew up with Bulldogs. English and French, to be exact. My mom loved them and still does to this day. I’ve always related to her unconditional love that way. When I moved into my first apartment, I could only have cats. I’d never been a cat owner before, but 20 years later, my house is blessed with the pitter pats of their feet, their fur on my couch, and the warmth of their bodies as they lay on my lap. My house would not be a home without them.

The last 10-years of my career have been in animal-oriented fields. I’ve been fortunate enough to spend my workdays talking about people’s pets, such as learning about their personalities, their favorite people in the house, and some cases, why they mean more to the owner than their spouse!

I’m familiar with snub-nosed breeds, special needs animals, older animals, and just about everything in-between. I probably know as much terminology about your animals as a Veterinarian knows about his or her patients.

My experience includes: caring for snub-nosed pets (Bulldogs, Persian cats, British Shorthairs, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and just about any breed you can think of!)

I have experience administering medications, bathing and grooming Persian cats (I bathe my Persian cat, and he looks like a marshmallow when I’m done), walking dogs, and knowing how important your animal means to you!

As an overnight pet sitter, I would not only give your cat or dog a lot of big hugs and cuddles, but I would provide you with daily updates and pet picture postcards that include your animal’s little photo and a sentence or two about how he or she is doing.

I am highly proactive, reliable, and responsible. I have a high ownership mentality and enjoy helping anything with two legs or four! I would love to meet your pet and would be honored to work for you!
