Sterling N. Pet Care Provider in Washington, DC 20008

My name is Sterling and I am 27 years old. I live in NW DC (near Connecticut and Nebraska.)

I have a full time job working as a recruiter for a start up healthcare company in Ballston. (My job is full time, but I have flexibility in terms of my schedule and the ability to work remotely.) I graduated from Auburn University and moved to DC 5 years ago. I'm hoping to make some extra money - so am looking for pet sitting opportunities!

I grew up with a number of pets. I am dog and cat friendly - and am open to working with most animals. I do not own any pets currently (living in a small apartment with no yard makes having a pet hard!)

I currently volunteer with Reading Partners, as a reading tutor for children in third grade. (This program requires background check fingerprinting and a TB test.)

During college, I volunteered for a big brothers/big sisters program called Project Uplift. I mentored a young girl in middle school through this program. During my first few years in DC, I was a member of the Northern Virginia Chapter of Junior League, which hosts many volunteer activities. I am active with the Metro Washington Auburn Alumni Association and help fundraise and organize events in the DC area.

I've dog and cat sat for friends, and can provide references.

I am really active and can keep up with energetic pets. I really enjoy being around animals and am happy to manage exercise, food, dog walking, overnight care (in your home) and bathing. Unfortunately, my apartment is just too small to host any animal visitors.

I do not smoke and have passed the background check.
