I am 25 years old and a current student. I go to school locally (and grew up in the area) though, at Montgomery College-Takoma Park. So I will be available this SUMMER. :) I live in Chevy Chase and I have my own transportation so I'm available to come visit your pets multiple times day without hassle. It also means I'm available for short notice and "last minute" jobs.
As for pets, I am owned by four beautiful cats (two sets of siblings). I also have a dog (12 year old Bichon-Terrier mix) and two goldfish.
I have all types of pet care experience. I care for my neighbors special needs dog on a short-notice basis. I also have cared for an asthmatic cat and even a diabetic cat. I have sat for dogs whose back legs were lame and need assistance to get around. I am even available for long term pet care. I took care of a cat for a little over five weeks. I can take care of your special needs baby(ies)!
I love animals and treat mine like one of the family. And, I would love to invite yours into my family too. If you are going out of town I can even send you daily photos or videos of your "babies" to help assuage your worries!
I am also available for daily or scheduled dog walking as well. Or daily/scheduled cat/in home animal care too. Basically I am available for any type of pet care service you may need. Note: I'd also be happy to sit overnight, for multiple nights.

Christina recently cared for our cat while we were away on travel. We came home to find our cat in good spirits with plenty of water and a clean litter box. Christina was very friendly, professional, and attentive.
Christina did an excellent job caring for our two cats for 10 days when we were on vacation. One of our cats (Edward), who is very friendly, appeared to bond easily with Christina. Our other cat (Elizabeth), who is very shy and does not like people other than "Mom and Dad", usually exhibits inappropriate behavior (not always using the litter box) when we are gone for a few days. However, with Christina there was no inappropriate behavior when we were gone!! Clearly Christina understands cats! She went beyond the feeding and litter box maintenance to ensure that the cats received attention. Apparently both cats appreciated Christina's manner and soft-spoken demeanor which no doubt contributed to their contentment upon our return. Thanks to Christina!
Christina watched my 3 cats for 8 days while we were on vacation. She was simply amazing. Not only were the cats happy, but I received text messages with updates to advise me that they were doing ok. She even brought them a special toy to play with. She is great and handles all the details with aplomb. I highly recommend her and will defintely use her again!
Christina cat sat for us while we were on vacation for over a week. She went above and beyond. When we came home, the cat had food, plenty of water, and a clean litter. She made sure our kitty was able to spend time outside, and played with her daily for a very reasonable rate. Additionally, she knows about cats. Last minute i had to buy a different kind of cat food that our kitties usual type so she wouldn't run out while we were gone, and Christina took it upon herself to mix the old and the new food to make sure our cat would take to the new food. It was a huge relief to us, especially since our kitty is young and rather new to the family.
