I am recently retired and have excellent pet care references in the tri-state area. I am the human half of a dog therapy team for PAWS for People and was their therapy team trainer until June of 2016.
My life before retirement included working in the criminal justice field, teaching and training students, animals and adults, managing a horse farm and an active 4-H parent and instructor.
I truly appreciate animals owners who understand the importance of keeping their pet/s in their home when they are away reducing stress for all concerned. I also know how difficult it can be to trust someone to care not only for their beloved pet/s but their home/property as well. I can assure that I have the love, skill and experience to care for your pets and the respect for your personal belongings and your home. All of my pet care jobs have been by word-of-mouth clients and am new at reaching out to new folks needing my services.
I mentioned in my heading that I am experienced in all types of animal care. Therefore, people who have exotics, horses and livestock can count on me to provide this specialized service.
I hold state licensure as a mental health provider and prevention specialist. I am a certified equine therapy counselor and have worked for nearly 20+ years with at-risk children and families. I have worked as a parenting instructor for Child, Inc. for eight years and work independently as a life and recovery coach.
