I have always owned dogs. I love all types, however, my last dog Sam was a
Golden Retriever. We adopted him through the GoldHeart Organization
when he was 8 years old. He lived with us for 10 great years and then developed diabetes and then other complications from diabetes. Then, he passed away about 5 years ago. We have recently moved from MD to DE. I am not ready to own another dog right now but feel I would be a great "grandparent" to any dog. I am very comfortable with giving meds since I had to give Sam 2 shots a day for his diabetes. I love to walk dogs, play with them, and give them lots of TLC. I would be happy to help you out with your pet.
