Leticia seemed experienced, easy going and eager for a 1-week job while we were visiting a very sick parent. Ultimately she was unprofessional and flaky.
After reconfirming the schedule with her multiple times, I found out she had planned to flake on one most crucial days to work with another family because "they just pay so well, lol" (??!).
The kicker: morning of Day 1, I text to say good morning and remind her to bring her bathing suit. Her reply 25 min before her start time **"Sorry today I cant go! I worked all day yesterday and I need to rest today"... and she silenced her notifications (!!)**. I cancelled the week right then and there because no mom can work with that level of unreliability OR feel comfortable leaving their babies with someone so flake.
