Hello, My name is Ruthanne - I am experienced taking care of pets, while their human parent's are on vacation, or whenever I may be needed. I had sole responsibility of nursing a sweet doggy named Sandy back to health for 6 wks. I also took care of her other dog companions who lived in her home - 3 Chihuahuas- Daddy Magoo, Mama Madison and their sweet puppy Sophia from the time she was born. I took care of them for 2-1/2 years. I also nursed Magoo when he was attacked by a neighbor's Chow and had jaw surgery. He recovered nicely. I also took care of Lucy, a black lab approx 1 yr old when her family needed me. I sat for her at her home, and overnight when needed, especially while Lucy's humans vacationed. I also have lots of experience w/puddycats. I always owned Kittycats so I could be more spontaneous, I used to work 2 jobs at times. However when I've vacationed sometimes depending on my destination I would bring her along. I am presently taking care of and training 2 ferals, one has actually started to lie next to me on couch when she visits. It has taken 1 yr for Princess to jump up and STAY for 15min lying next to me. I move and she jumps down. Blackie is make and I haven't neutered him yet. I will, when I'm able to pick him up and it is getting close. Princess is spayed. My daughter who lives in Tampa rescues almost any pet. But she fosters Cats. I am retired, My puffy of 10yrs passed. I would very much enjoy helping you, help your pet feel special while your away. I am very flexible and will feed most any animal but Snakes, Spiders and Rats or mice. I have pet sitted for other dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, turtles, hamsters, and a Dragon lizard. I do house sitting as well. I will be looking forward to a call. Have a very pleasant day.
