Everyone around here calls me "Miss Raye". I have lived here for 32 years, and I owned and operated a small riding facility here, for 25 years. I gave lessons and guided trail rides, and bred my Arabian stallion to both school mares and outside mares.

My children grew up on our 'farm', learning the 'facts of life' from my breeding stallion, mares and their foals, the numerous horses, cats and dogs born, rescued, rehabilitated, or euthanized, and even a rescued duck, a stray rooster, and a science fair project on 'the chicken and the egg cycle'. Foaling, raising and training horses for a great portion of my life, my animal skills have become proficient, and I am always interested in anything concerning animals, large and small.

I have been retired from the riding instruction business for a few years, and though I still have three dogs, 2 cats and two horses, I am devoted full time to helping others with their own animals....... whether it is rehabilitating an abused horse or feeding, brushing, exercising and loving your pets while you are away, you can trust that I will care for YOUR pets as if they are my own!! My fees are pretty standard, but may vary slightly, if your care group is larger than 8 animals, and/or if they need larger blocks of time for completing their care...... please feel free to ask and we can discuss it while your pets are interviewing me.
