My name is Lacie. I am an experienced Veterinary Technician looking to apply my skills/knowledge outside of the hospital. To assist your family with the best quality at home care for your furry or not so furry family members. I have experience with a wide range of pets from equine care to reptiles.
Tasks I am comfortable and experienced handling: Diabetics, handling insulin, subcutaneous injections, administer subcutaneous fluids, eye and ear medications, oral and other medications, pets with mild to severe disabilities, post surgical care, temperamental.
Being a Technician it is very important for me to keep a clean and sterile environment. I am alert and aware of all details, very organized and patient. Before becoming a surgical technician I worked at a doggy daycare and was a kennel attendant for 5 years. I cared for up to as many as 50 dogs at a time.
I will always be able to be in contact with you while you are away. I have a Yorkshire terrier who just turned ten and I have only ever left him with someone once. So I understand all of the concerns when thinking of having to leave your pet behind.
