An animal lover and rescuer all of my life, I now own just one 9 yr old dog and a 26 yr old bird.
In the past, I have owned and loved horses, donkeys, goats, dogs, cats, birds and chickens.
Working at a zoo, I have helped raise orphaned squirrels, opossums and ground hogs. I even worked in the Gorilla Nursery feeding and caring for orphaned babies. I have personally taken baby tigers and young orangutans (not together) to special events. I am comfortable with most species. However, no reptiles please.
