My name is Jess but i prefer to be called Alex.
Since i was three years old i have rescued everything from spiders to frogs and the occasional pup. I continued my rescue with my mother where i advanced to horses, dogs, cats, and many more before restoring their health and hearts, adopting some out and keeping the rest to live their lives in a loving safe home. I've ridden horses since i was born, i do not ride dressage, english, roping and or jumper/hunter jumper. I prefer to have just a bridal, the horse and I. But I am always open to learning new things and expanding my knowledge. I have volunteered at a Kennel in TX where my mother works and at fifteen i worked for a company called Pony Parties. I have had exposure to many mild and even extreme situations involving animals and I know basic CPR for felines and canines per a class i took in High School (Small Animal Management I and II). I am very intuitive towards animals, they don't need to be verbal or physical for me to know something is up or they are in need of something. Animals are my life and I have never known better and more accepting creatures than our everyday companions who shed light onto our lives even in the darkest of times. Currently I am the parent of a black and white kitty named Skooby and a one year old Golden Knee Choco tarantula named Russia. My fiance, whom i live with, is the proud parent of a white kitty named Spirit, a hamster named Kiki and a Throwback Pomeranian named Jax. I find i am performing at my best and brightest when working with and around animals of all kinds; I couldn't imagine a world without them.
