I've had cats, dogs and a rabbit over the years. I currently have an 8 month old kitten.

When I was in middle school, I took care of my neighbor's pets: 2 cats and a dog, when they went out of town. I checked on them twice a day, took the dog for a walk, made sure they were fed and had human companionship throughout the day. Sometimes I'd come over for a few hours and do light housekeeping.
