I love animals and have cared for friends' pets both at my home on several occasions and at their homes. I own 2 dogs and 2 cats presently. My cats are indoor cats and adopted me 12 years ago and 2 years ago. My dogs are outdoor dogs with open 24 hour access to the warm and comfy laundry room. I currently have 4 dachsunds that I tend to every Thurs. pm and other special times the owner requests and I can't even enter the house without their cute uproar and welcome "dance" as they try to let me know how glad they are that I have gotten there just in time for the best time of their day --mealtime! I also have a Border Collie that has bonded with me when owners leave town on extended vacations. Sometimes his mood is so somber I have to bring in my bedding and do a sleepover to the dog's unending tail wagging delight! He then happily finishes his meals and I then am able to text photos of his happy face as he finishes his food and leaves an empty plate! I also have a unique Persian cat that has an eye issue that needs to be tended to and her owner knows the cat has a special attachment to me ( she actually climbs up in my lap (and does this to none else except the owner) and gives me "cat purrs") and gives me the warmest welcome every day I visit and then jumps up on the counter where her hairbrush is so I will give her some brushing and then turns over to her other side so I can do that side too. I have pics of this I text to her "mom" for her delight and peace of mind knowing how her kitty's needs are well met! I am sure if these beautiful animals could text I would be first on their list! So know when it comes to pets I champion them and continue the loving care that they are use to receiving from their most cherished family!
